This is an online journal devoted to gathering a variety of petite delights: literature, diary entries, unsent letters, music compilations, reflections, prose and verse, and more. My aspiration for this Secret Garden is to build a cabinet of curiosities that, upon retrospection in the future, will allow me to revisit instants that molded me as a person through the perspective of all the little things that brought me delight: the books the affected me, the music that kindled me, my contemplation and stances regarding the world, and all the loveliness that I chose to surround myself with. These everyday moments are the treasures of a human existence, and I've always been a strong believer that by preserving them, you keep the past alive and make the present even more meaningful.
Before the corporations and the restraining walls of social media came to be, the web used to be a place for the people to express themselves, explore their creativity, and communicate sincerely. This Garden is inspired by the internet that once was, in the days when websites were simple and carried the story of somebody living in this world. I want this place to be uncomplicated and honest. Simple, bright and heartwarming things fill my heart with tremendous joy. May this be a spider’s web built of memories, optimism, and little stories, a treasured keepsake journal, and a secret garden in a forgotten forest where few wander, but with gates open for anyone to stumble upon.
